Wedding bells were in the air at the Norfolk Showground as happy couples soon to tie the knot had a great time getting inspiration for their special day.
Over the weekend more than 2,500 people flocked to Bride: the Wedding Show, in association with the Eastern Daily Press and sponsored by Pure Brides and Grooms. It is the eighth year the Eastern Daily Press has held the event at the Norfolk Showground.

From cakemakers to jewellers to photographers, there were more than 150 exhibitors covering every aspect of planning the perfect wedding, and there was also a special catwalk show featuring all the latest bridalwear looks.
Diana Sims, Sales Director Bride Portfolio, said: “We had an absolutely amazing show.
“I would like to thank all the exhibitors and visitors for their support, and for helping to make the show the number one in East Anglia. It was absolutely brilliant.
“For me, one of the highlights is always the huge effort all the exhibitors make with their stands.
“It is absolutely amazing when visitors walk in and they just go, ‘wow, this is great.’
“When you hear how many bookings exhibitors have taken, for me it shows how much the show means to both the visitors and the exhibitors.”
Anna Hare, from Norwich-based Pure Brides and Grooms, said: “We have been at this show every year – it’s our favourite show. It is always a really, really fun show and the catwalk is always fantastic.
“This weekend had a fantastic atmosphere with lots of brides and bridegrooms there getting inspiration.
“For the first time we had a pop-up shop so brides could try on dresses and order gowns if they fell in love with them. It was really brilliant fun.”
Karen Walpole, from Walpole and Howson Wedding Films, was at the show for the third year. She said she enjoyed the camaraderie between the exhibitors and meeting all the brides.
“It is lovely to meet the brides because they are so excited and every wedding is different, and we are here to help them capture their day so they can remember it forever.”
